The Armstrong Foil Drive Integrated Mast is designed to seamlessly add power assist to the Armstrong range. Featuring a forward-positioned motor pod for enhanced lift and minimized drag, this mast offers the distinctive Armstrong experience with electric boost and a clean, streamlined design.
This setup is engineered to extend your time on the water, whether you’re pursuing small bumps, waves in light wind, or just beginning your foiling journey. Powered assist helps beginners accelerate their learning curve, while seasoned riders can increase wave catches, shorten recovery periods, and access more challenging locations. Progression is all about time on foil and with the Foil Drive combined with this performance focused mast, you will fast track your foiling skills and get way more wave-riding opportunities.

Pod Height 185mm - The Sweet Spot - Foil Assist. The 185mm motor pod position hits the sweet spot for most foil-assist disciplines, low drag,well-balanced, and basically invisible once you’re on foil. While some advanced riders prefer to mount it closer to the board, and beginners stretch it out to 220mm for extra margin, 185mm remains the goldilocks zone for everyday versatility.
Pod Height 650m- Positioned for full time power. Meet the next evolution in powered foiling. Purpose-built for consistent submersion and effortless power delivery. The E-Foil mast drops the motor pod to 650mm for consistent submersion and full-time motoring.
Full integrated for efficiency - Smoother Lift, Lower Drag
The motor pod is positioned further forward than typical integrations, reducing drag at the front end and enhancing lift from the prop. The result? Seamless acceleration and a
noticeably smoother ride when powering up.

Manufactured with Toray high modulus carbon fiber and finished to the same spec as our
Performance Masts, this mast is built to handle real-world torsional loads without flinching. Premium construction meets plug-and-play practicality for Foil Drive riders.
A+System - The ultimate modular foil assembly system.
The A+ System is our proprietary foil assembly designs that join the mast, fuselage, front foil, and stabilizer with a hexagonal tapered fit into the front foil. This design is incredibly strong, torsionally rigid, and durable when combined with our material selection. Paired with our premium titanium and stainless steel hardware, corrosion is minimized and the whole package has an industry-leading fit and finish.
