Outline

The Armstrong Surf Foilboard (Prone Foil Board) has been designed with a fresh, ground-up outline that takes inspiration from traditional surfboards. The full nose features extra foam for improved paddling comfort and support for the chest. The rails gradually taper down to a squared-off tail, providing enough width for quick foot placement during critical drops. This carefully balanced design offers stability and high-performance capabilities for all skill levels.

Rocker, Rails and Deck
The design of the board includes a mostly flat rocker line with a small upward curve in the nose to aid in effortless and effective paddling. Its deck and rails are also flat and voluminous, allowing for a thinner overall board size. The board's thin and rigid build provides a heightened sense of connection to the wave, enhancing the rider's experience with the foil.

Bottom and Foil Tracks
This board's design is ideal for progressive surfers looking to ride the water using a foil. Its double concave to v-tail bottom contours promote efficient water flow, reducing surface drag and making it suitable for both beginners and experienced surfers alike. In contrast to Armstrong's Forward Geometry models, the Surf's carbon foil tracks are placed towards the back for a balanced mast position on shorter boards.

More Grip, More Control

Redefine your footwork.
The board's deck grip is designed for optimal control and comfort, allowing you to showcase your surfing style. With micro-cutouts throughout for a secure grip and a full width kick pad for additional traction, this design is reminiscent of our other boards. The markings on the pad also indicate the placement of the foil track, while the holes in the deck grip make it easy to access the footstrap screws.

Proven Construction
Experience a sublime feeling underfoot with Armstrong Surf Foilboard (Prone Foil Board). Our renowned double skin PVC sandwich, paired with top-to-bottom dual stringers, offers unparalleled structural rigidity and durability. The proprietary carbon fiber foil tracks are expertly integrated into the stringers for a seamless construction.
